Diligence is Key

This week was so good! Hard but good! Probably one of the most important things I leaned from this week is that diligence is key and the Gospel is simple, we don't need to make it complicated. For the diligence thing, at least twice that I can remember we were almost home and we met amazing people right outside our apartment!!

This week is a huge Korean holiday called 주슥 I probably spelled that wrong.. which is apparently like our Thanksgiving, but even bigger here.

[Mom note: this is what I could find about the holiday:
추석 (秋夕)Chuseok15th day of 8th lunar monthAlso called Han-gawi (Hangul한가위). Korean traditional harvest festival. With Korean New Year, it is one of the most important Korean traditional holidays. As a celebration of the good harvest, Koreans visit their ancestral hometowns and feast on traditional food.
Chuseok (October 3-5, 2017)
Chuseok is one of the year's most important traditional holidays. It is celebrated on the 15th day of the eighth lunar month. Chuseok is often referred to as Korean Thanksgiving Day. It's a celebration of the harvest and thanksgiving for the bounty of the earth. Family members come from all over the country to visit their ancestral homes.]

I'm excited!!! There will probably be lots of stories and pictures next week! (if i can remember the stories and the pc  lets me send pictures... it's finicky... sorry mom!! I love you and am trying to send pictures!!!) I don't have much time today. So this is really short but the work is busy but amazing!!!! I love God and He has given me so much help throughout this experience and my life. The Church is true and I love you all!!

Love, Elder Lott

Question of the week: Are there many hills in your area, or it is mostly level? Do you use elevators or escalators in the buildings, or stairs?

Answer: Yeah, there are a lot of hills in my area. My apartment is at the top of a hill on the way from the stop to the university. They're nothing compared to the hills of Bountiful, but they're still a bit tiring to walk up every day haha. Escalators and elevators are the best!! Most buildings have them but some don't. And only about half of the 's do. Which means sometimes we climb up several flights of stairs getting out of subway.

Elder Lott wasn't able to get pictures sent this week.
But we did find this one on the Mission President's blog, hooray!
