I would like to start off this week just saying how amazing
prayer is!!!! Prayer is something I definitely took for granted before the mission, but as I've been out here and had experiences that have brought me before the Lord frequently and humbly, I have come to realize just how amazing it is. AND it works! Through prayer we can feel God's love and guidance and gain peace and can call upon His help for ourselves and others. I know that prayer is definitely a huge blessing to me and to all of us. This week I would like to invite all of you that are reading this to listen to the hymn
Sweet Hour of Prayer and ponder about how you can make your prayers more sincere and meaningful and do it. God is our loving Father and He wants to hear from us. And I don't think He cares how small or trivial something may be, He wants to hear about it from us. He truly loves us perfectly and will always reach out to us as we reach out to Him.
Also during this week transfers happened, but since I'm still a greenie nothing changed for me. But we did lose our two roomates and our 4 man house dropped down to two, which probably makes it one of the biggest in the mission as far as sqaure foot per missionary living there.
Since I finally got pictures to upload, I will spend the rest of my time uploading and explaining those!! It was an awesome week!
Love, Elder Lott
Question of the Week: Do you see many animals or pets?
Answer: I see a few small dogs and stray cats.. some pigeons.. the fish in markets and resturants that are swimming around... and yeah, that's about it. I'm in one of the most downtown areas in the mission and all of Seoul, so I don't see many other than that. Oh! haha and probably literally nearly a million people on the subway every day.
