When Did it Get So Cold!?

If I were to say one worldly thing about this last week it would be "When did it get so cold!!!???". Just in the past week it has gotten freezing here!!! Well, it's not actually that cold, but the wind is crazy! You'll be standing there talking with someone and be perfectly fine, and then a breeze comes along and BRRRRR it gets super cold!! But it's ok, it has just made me appreciate sweaters and 호's (an amazing little pancake thing that is filled with cinnamon sugar and fried!!! ahh sooo good!) a lot more!!

Also this week was stake conference for the 서울 남 (Seoul Nam) stake, and I got to sing in the choir and that was cool. This week we definitely saw God's hand guiding the work again. For example, we were on our way to do stickerboarding (a fun way of doing 전도) with some other elders, and my companion decides to go to the bathroom in the subway and while I'm waiting outside, an old man comes up to me (really weird for that to happen but I think I've mentioned that in other emails) and asks why I'm here and we start talking. It was a really cool experience! And then just on that trip there we met several other people amazing people it was crazy!! One of them was actually a member! We were waiting down in the subway for the train and my companion just asks someone "Are you Mormon?" (to a foreigner) and they turn around and are like "YEAH! hey you're the missionaries!!" it was really cool haha. And then just the everyday miracles I get to see as a missionary! This work is great!! 😀 Moroni 7 was a really good chapter this week! I invite you all to read it!!

Love you all! Have a good week!

Question of the Week: Are there many parks or trees around your area, and if so, are the leaves changing colors?

Answer: There's a few, and parts of cities are really well built into nature. For example Seoul National University!! We went for a walk around there with an investigator and it's really integrated into nature. The whole campus is in the little valley surrounded by mountains (hills) and the leaves are just starting to change color!!! There's actually a word for the beautiful color of fall leaves in Korean!! It's 담픈 or something like that... my spelling isn't that great! [Mom note:  I think he means Dan-poong (단풍).
