Arrived in Korea!

Mom Note:
It has been great fun watching Elder Lott's flights travel around the earth.  We were so very blessed to receive a picture and short video from someone who was traveling on the TRAX train to the airport with the missionaries leaving the MTC on Monday morning.  I've had trouble loading video to the blog, so if you want to see it, I'll happily whip out my phone next time I see you!

6:30am on the TRAX train to Salt Lake International Airport

Love That Smile!

He was able to make a 3-4 minute phone call from the Salt Lake City airport, and how wonderful it was to hear his voice!  He also spoke to his dad at work, and left a message for his sister who was at school.  There wasn't time for much else - it was a quick departure and even quicker transfer in Seattle to the plane that would take him to Incheon International Airport in South Korea.  We were happy to have the flight arrive 30 minutes early so we could get to bed sooner!

Arrived in Seattle after a loop and zig-zag!

Leaving Seattle
You can see the remnants of Hurricane Harvey on the Gulf of Mexico.

Halfway There!

Flying Across South Korea - Almost There!

We woke up to a wonderful email from President and Sister Turner, letting us know that Elder Lott's group was safely in their care:

Good evening families!  선교사의 자족은안녕하십니가?
Your missionaries have safely arrived, had their first proselyting experience on the public subway system, been fed, and put to bed.  여러분의 선교사들은 무사히  도착해서 처음으로 지하철에서 전도를 하는 경험을 쌓고집에 와서 저녁을 먹고 잠자리에 들었습니다.

We are feeling very blessed that the group traveled safely and looking forward to Elder Lott's first email from South Korea next Monday.
