Elder Garrison Lott

So this week was an amazing week lead by inspiration from God on the daily basis. I cannot explain all the miracles, but it was a great week! We met with a lot of potential investigators. I'm going to send a lot of pictures so this part will be short, but I know God has called a prophet on the earth today and he is President Russell M Nelson and that God truly does call his leaders by revelation. I also know that we can receive revelation for personal lives and for the responsibilities we are called to bear and God is just pouring it down upon us. All we have to do is listen. So this week had a few great things!! An apostle visit ( Elder Stevenson ), interviews with President, and exchanges back with one of my old comps, Elder Jo!!! Haha, super fun, super great week! Not much to report. Just a few funny things happened this week, one of them being the Jehovah Witness missionaries coming and proselyting to us at our apartment after soccer on Saturday morning. It was pretty funny because we just got back and I was wearing regular clothes because we had just done soccer, so I opened the door and just talked nicely because it's the exact same thing we do. So I just nicely told them I wasn't interested and that I had a religion of my own and then they finally noticed my name tag (I guess it must have blended in with my soccer clothes or something, haha). But it was just interesting to be on the other side of it for a second, haha. But with the Elder Stevenson visit, me and my comp actually got to go see him twice!! Because we had the one with the m

This week was great with a few small great stories!! First, I've got a good would you rather question: Would you rather not have a phone or only know half of the password and have other person know the other half and you can't tell each other? Haha, that's just something funny that I'll probably explain later. Another fun thing that happened this week was at a district proselyting activity. So here in Korea, we're going to start a new English program so to get some hype for it, we went as a district to do some English stickerboading. So we were doing that and Elder Jo (my old companion) asks some kids to stick a sticker in English and then they say no, so I step up and say in Korean "Well if you don't want to stick a sticker then do yo want to guess where my friend is from (pointing to Elder Jo)" because a lot of people don't think he's from Korea anymore because he's so good at English and a few other reasons. Well this week was fun!! New area! New comp! For those who didn't know I'm in 김포 [ Gimpo/Kim-po ] now!! One of the most 시걸 [ rural ] areas in the mission!! Heck yeah!! Let's go!!! I love 시걸 [ countryside/seaside ]!! Small wards!! Hours of bus rides!! And really nice people even if there's not a ton of people (: It's pretty great! This week was spent adjusting and getting to know a lot of the investigators and members and recent convert so that was fun!! I'm looking forward to working here for a while!
