Elder Garrison Lott

I'm going to say it again and again over and over as the weeks go on but this week was amazing!!! It was the first week with Elder Malo and he's a great Elder and tons of fun to serve around! We hit the streets hard 전도'ing (proselyting) this week and saw some pretty great success from it! I'm excited meet with a lot of the people in the coming weeks that we met this last week! So to start off with miracle 1 of many. We were heading to go stickerboarding at 부천역 [Bucheon Station] and we leave the station and are walking to our meeting place when somebody walks up to me and he's super nice and we start talking. And we talk and talk and he's a theology student and he's heard a bit about our church but not a lot. But said he is really interested and we just continue to talk, and I ask him what he knows already and what he's interested in and he says the Book of Mormon. So we begin talking and explain it a bit and fill in the parts that he doesn't know

Another great week!! I love this work being a missionary and being in Korea! This week flew by like all the others! So some fun things that happened this week! Exchanges! I finished our mission's language study plan and passed it off with the AP's so now I'm on my own for studying so that's exciting! umm I also went on exchanges with a greenie named Elder Rosenbalm from Oregon! He's a great Elder!! and super tall haha, I'll try and send a picture of him! (That's him and another huge missionary!! You can't tell but they can literally walk over some of the little Korean grandmas!! haha oh and on a side note, the Korean in that picture is coming to live in my same house!! He's super cool too!! I'm excited). Oh and that reminds me, transfer calls came! I'm staying!! And getting a new comp, Elder Malo from Centerville Utah! If you know him let me know! yep. hmm what else... Our zone is shrinking this transfer! But I'm excited because

This week was super great!! It feels like it went by in two seconds!! So just a few things from this week! On Tuesday I went on exchanges with Elder Miller over to his team, and we saw some pretty great miracles!! So we went to the church intending to do some online proselyting and as Elder Miller is opening up the gate to the church a man walks by, so I start a conversation with him. The conversation then turned to the church building (which is really new) and I felt the prompting to offer him a tour, right then and there. So I did. And he accepted!!! So we just went in and started giving him a tour and talking!! He is pretty great. He and his family have just started going to a church a couple of weeks earlier, and are still trying to find one and he's walked by our church a bit and been curious. But anyways, at the end of the tour we talk with him for a bit more and ask if we can share the message of the restoration with him and how our church came to be and such, so we sit dow

So as far as this week goes, it was pretty good. We had zone conference this week. But it was a bit different than usual. 왜냐하면 [Because] we did it on a mountain!! Which was super cool!! I gave my first training too, which it was super cool to do in the mountain!! Also, I carried up a rock in my arms the whole way to the top haha. I got pretty attached, and by the end I was sad to let him go... but that's ok, I'll get to see him next year!! (: haha Besides that, regular missionary work was great this week! I went on exchanges with Elder Olsen which was fun! He's a great young missionary! We also had a lot of other activities this week that kept us super busy, like a music night for the stake. That was fun! I don't know much else to say.. It was a great week! I've got a good number of pictures so I'll send those (: I know Christ lives.
