Early Transfers

Image
Some interesting things happened this week!! First, I'm being transferred after only 5 weeks (It was a short transfer because of some mission president things that President Turner has to attend next month.) to 부천 [ Bucheon ] . So I really shouldn't have unpacked, haha! It was honestly so unexpected but I know it's what the Lord wants! (: And then for some other cool things this week, we got to meet a lot of cool people!! One of them being a university professor from Pakistan! He is honestly so cool!! I loved our discussion with him!! It deepened my faith and the preparation for that meeting was also a very spirit led experience!! I can't go into to much detail now, but mom if you want I'll probably tell you more when I get to call you in a few weeks!  Other than that, it was a pretty normal week. We worked hard saw some great things happen (: yep This is short, sorry.. let's see... Can I think of anything else to say... hmm... not really.  Love you a

Choose the Harder Right Instead of the Easier Wrong

This week I don't have much to say. It started raining which has been fun. It's not quite monsoon season yet, but we've had a few really hard storms already. And we're about to go out and play soccer right now in it! It'll be fun! And good hard work brings happiness (: and blessings!!! Definately recognized that this week (: Also I've been thinking a lot about President Monson's Choose the Harder Right Instead of the Easier Wrong talk lately. It's really good. I'd invite you all to read it!! Sorry this one is so short this week! Love you all!! This is Christ's church on the earth, He is our Savior and never will leave our side!!  Choices by President Thomas S. Monson General Conference Talk, April 2016 Click here for a video Love you all! Have a good week!! Love Elder Lott Question of the Week: Loved pictures of the cherry blossoms last week. Are cherries a popular fruit, or are the trees ornamental? Answer: From what

Pretty great week!! We worked our tails of this week proselyting. 왜냐하면 [Because] we lost a lot of our investigators for various reasons last week, one of them being he moved to Australia. Kind of hard to met with us haha, so we referred him down there. But with that said because we have had a lot of time to proselyte we got to see a lot of miracles too! One of them being while we were stickerboarding (a type of proselyting that I think I've explained before?? maybe?? If not I'll explain it next week if people ask) and I was holding the board which usually makes it pretty hard to talk people but I was still trying anyways. And I started a conversation with this one women and we were talking and her questions lead straight to the restoration. So standing right there on a busy street corner out side of a subway station I taught the restoration pretty simply in in about 5 min!!! It was really cool!! Usually here in Korea you're lucky if they give you 30 seconds and it's a

Cherry Blossoms

This past week was really good, one because the cherry blossoms are coming out and that's beautiful!! (sorry no pictures) and we finally got to watch General Conference !!! Yay!! That was the best!! It was amazing!! I just want to testify that President Nelson is God's prophet on the earth today and that I sustain and love him and that these changes are part of Gods plan to hasten His work in His time. I am so pumped from conference and look forward to reading and re-reading the messages shared there and invite you all to do the same. Short letter this week so sorry but I love you all!!! Elder Lott Question of the Week: Do families in South Korea live in three generation homes, or has that custom become less popular? Answer: So to answer that question it's seeming to be less popular. Honestly it seems about the same as in the US. Not really a big thing I've noticed. I'll make sure to pay more attention to it and let you know later maybe. [Mom note:  I

Celebrating the Resurrection

[Mom note: Two questions of the week this post, hooray!] Question of the Week: Is your new apartment as nice as your old one? What's a favorite feature of your new apartment or area? It's not as nice as in that it's not as new, but it's pretty great in its own ways. It's one of the biggest apartments I've ever been in!! But that is definitely needed considering there are 8 missionaries living in it!! It's crazy!! haha It's almost like going back to the MTC with how many missionaries I get to see every day!! So that's insane... when the mission shrinks though, it will be so big with only 4-6 missionaries living there! And also apparently last transfer before I came the downstairs neighbors complained about the noise, so my favorite feature of the house is the kindergarten mats all over the floor haha. Yep we literally have the half inch colorful interlocking foam pads from kindergarten all over our floor now haha, it's pretty cool. Anyways,
