P-Day Travels

So this last week had Zone Conferences!! Super fun, a lot pictures are on the mission blog so I won't send mine. But this past week was pretty great too. But it's Fall now and the weather's good so all the other churches 전도사's [missionaries] are out and it's back to war on the streets.... At least the weather's good! (:

We had a super busy weekend with investigators and members and other things. This week we had probably one of the most productive hours of my mission though cleaning the church and teaching a lesson with an investigator, ward missionary, recent convert, and prospective elder. It was a great time!

Yep, haha sorry not much I want to write about this week! I'll send lots of pictures and explain those. Love you all!! The church is true!

Love, Elder Lott

Question of the Week: Do farmers in Korea use large equipment, or mostly manual labor?

Answer: So the ones in South Korea use large equipment if their farms are big enough (some people have "farms" that are like the size of our garden [1/12 acre] and make money renting out strips to people to garden, haha) But from what I saw of North Korea last week, it looked like it was mostly manual up there.

An old coffee shop!! Apparently this place is super famous in Korea, so we left our mark among the rest who have been there!

[Mom note: See link below for Gyodongdo Island.
That tourist blog describes this tea.]

The 시장 [market] on 교동도 [Gyodongdo]!!! It was dope!! We all got our pictures drawn by an older Korean man and had a great time!

P-Day in Marshal Laws District [DMZ - Demilitarized Zone].  Yep! That's North Korea!

Right under us there was an anti-air artillery gun which was cool too. And the whole observatory also doubles as a military post. We spent most of this day in marshal law districts haha, fun!
