Transfer Calls

So this last Saturday we received transfer calls!! I'm staying!! and Elder Gill is going to 이천!! [Icheon] Lucky guy!! I envy him a bit haha, 이천 [Icheon] was a great place (: And my new companion still isn't in Korea. I'll pick him up on Wednesday. So there's that, haha.

But besides that we had a great week with a ward picnic and a super dope couple of lessons. One of the best ones was on Sunday night. We 갑자기 [suddenly] got a 식사 초대 [meal invitation] during church for that evening so we instantly invited one of our investigators and one of his closest fellowshipers. That lesson was the best lesson I've ever been a part of. As we were reading out of the Book of Mormon (Mosiah 18) the spirit was so strong, and it was just a beautiful experience.

So much more to tell, but I'll do that later! It was a great night!! (: Love you all!! The Church is true!! Through Christ's atonement we can be clean from sin and find the strength to overcome any challenge in life.

Question of the Week: Korean etiquette is to not touch others in public, but we often seen pictures of crowded trains and sidewalks where strangers are doing so. Is public touching common?

Answer: umm... that may have been etiquette before in old times and I guess it is now too with strangers, but if you know the person it is completely normal to be touching them. If anything they're more touchy here than in America, haha. You'll see guys walking down the street in public holding hands (just friends!!) and same with girls. Among your friends, people are super touchy here haha. Everyone is just family pretty much, there are some other things too, but it would take too long to explain and it would seem really weird to Americans in America that aren't here to understand it, haha. And then on the trains and such, you just deal with it and are forced to touch people you don't know and it's an accepted part of life.

[No pictures from Elder Lott, so once again here are some fun ones pulled from President and Sister Turner's blog.  Elder Lott is in some of videos posted there, so check it out if you have time.
